Tesa Arcilla @ RT
Tesa Arcilla is a news anchor, correspondent, producer and multi-media journalist with a decade of experience. She joined Moscow-based English news network, RT, in 2010 as a correspondent and news presenter. In November 2011, she moved to the Brussels bureau to cover EU, NATO and western Europe at large.

Since joining RT, she’s done live reports
on a wide range of stories – the conflict in Syria, gas disputes, spy swaps, anti-austerity protests across Europe, the 2012 French presidential election, the Global Policy Forum where she interviewed former NATO Secretary-General George Robertson, and the APEC Summit in Japan.

She has interviewed prominent individuals like former European Central Bank Chief Jean-Claude Trichet, former Libyan interim prime minister Mahmoud Jibril, former Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Thomas Hammarberg, and the last British governor of Hong Kong Chris Patten, among others. She also has experience in manning the anchor desk during live, unscripted rolling coverage of breaking news.

Tesa started her journalism career in the print media, writing for various newspapers and publications in Asia. She then moved to television and joined Hong Kong's biggest terrestrial English channel, TVB Pearl, where she worked as a business producer/reporter and main news presenter. During this time, she investigated financial scams, reported on the collapse of the global financial system, and followed major economic and legal developments in mainland China that impacted the Asia-Pacific region.

She also worked for CNN International's Asia headquarters for 'Talk Asia' and was part of Al Jazeera English's program, "48" featuring Hong Kong.
